Kids Boxing · Ages 6–11 · Gibsonville, NC
Thirty minutes of real boxing basics for kids 6 to 11, Monday and Wednesday at 5:00 PM. No gear needed for the free class.
Free first class · No sparring in the kids program · No contract
Kids Boxing is a short, focused class: how to stand balanced, how to move their feet, how to make a fist and throw a straight punch, and pad work with a coach holding the pads. It runs 30 minutes on purpose, so it ends while kids still want more.
We are a USA Boxing club with a full-size ring, and our adult USA Boxing program is led by Coach Anthony Holt, a 1982 New York Golden Gloves champion. Kids learn the same fundamentals the adults do, at their size and their pace.
Nobody spars in the kids program. A coach supervises every minute, partners are matched by size and experience, and protective gear is worn for every partner drill.
Thirty minutes of listening, copying the coach and trying again. Boxing rewards paying attention, and kids feel the difference fast.
Stance and footwork come first, because everything else is built on them. It is the same order the adults learn in.
Kids line up, listen to the coach and shake hands with their partners. The rules are simple and the same every class.

Not for the free class. We have gloves and pads for every drill. If your child keeps training, we recommend their own gloves (unless you already have some), and a coach will help you pick the right size.
