You Do Not Need To Be Fit To Start

Most of our members walked in with no experience and no particular fitness level. Classes start with a warm-up, coaches teach every move from the ground up, and you work at your own pace. The fitness comes from showing up.

Sparring is never part of your first class. It is optional, and only when your coach says you are ready.

What Your First Class Looks Like

Show up about 15 minutes early. Someone will meet you at the door, give you a quick tour and introduce you to a coach, who asks about any injuries or limitations before you step on the mat. Wear athletic clothes with no zippers or pockets and bring water. You do not need gloves or wraps for your first night.

After class, there is no sales pitch. If you want to keep training, memberships are month to month with no contract.

What It Costs

Your first class is free, with no card required. After that, All Access is $150/month for unlimited adult classes, a single program (boxing, MMA or Muay Thai) is $125/month, Kids Martial Arts is $125/month and covers all four kids classes, and the Family Plan is $250/month. Each has a one-time $40 signup fee and no contract. Personal training is $80 a session or $700 for 10. See full pricing →

Beginner Questions

I am out of shape. Will I hold the class back?

No. Everyone works at their own level, and coaches scale the drills. Being new is normal here.

Is it safe?

Classes are technique and drilling. Sparring is optional, supervised, and only when your coach clears you.

What should I wear?

Athletic clothes with no zippers or pockets, and water. That is the whole list for your first class. If you keep training, a coach will tell you exactly what gear to buy.

What about kids and teens?

Kids Martial Arts is for ages 6–11; see Kids Martial Arts. For a teen, call or text 336-221-4257 and we will point you to the right class.
